I find myself pretty typical: when I’m seeing quick gains, I sleep soundly instead; but the moment I’m floating a loss, my mind starts running film reels. Even though I haven’t sold, it feels like the loss has already sunk all the way into my bones… In plain terms, it’s just that my loss aversion is too strong—once I’m down a little, I want to “correct” immediately, and the more I watch, the more anxious I get.

These past two days, the group has been circulating talk about stablecoin regulation and reserve audits, along with all kinds of rumors about “de-pegging.” I’ll get a bit tense too, but later I think about it—emotion has nothing to do with what’s on-chain. My patchwork approach is just small tweaks: watch the group less, watch the flow between hot and cold wallets and stablecoins more, set my own stop-loss/position size that I can accept, and as for the rest… just for now—don’t use sleep as collateral.
