ME News message — On April 9 (UTC+8), Visa released the Intelligent Commerce Connect solution, aiming to provide an easy entry to AI-driven commerce for enterprises, AI Agent builders, and merchants. Intelligent Commerce Connect enables a single integration through the Visa acceptance platform, supporting secure payment initiation, tokenization, spending controls, and authentication, and it can process Visa and non-Visa card payments at the same time. The solution is compatible with mainstream agent protocols such as the Trusted Agent Protocol (TAP), Machine Payments Protocol (MPP), Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP), and Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP), and it makes merchants’ product catalogs discoverable by AI platforms. It is already being piloted with partners including Aldar, AWS, Diddo, Highnote, Mesh, Payabli, and Sumvin, and will be gradually opened to more partners this year. (Source: Foresight News)
