ME News report: On April 9 (UTC+8), Geoffrey Global Economist Mohit Kumar said in a report that although the Middle East ceasefire agreement is fragile, it is expected that the ceasefire will hold. Kumar said, “We have reached a stage where both sides want a ceasefire, because continuing the war would have a negative impact on both.” Kumar said, “Trump wants to reach an agreement because he hasn’t gained support for continued war from his ‘Make America Great Again’ base.” Meanwhile, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps will get bogged down due to an economy that has been destroyed, which could pave the way for subsequent uprisings. He said, “Considering the interests of both sides, we believe this unstable ceasefire will be maintained.” (Jin10) (Source: ODAILY)
