The U.S. military claims to have completely cut off Iran's maritime import and export trade

ME News report, April 15 (UTC+8), on Tuesday evening local time, U.S. Central Command Commander General Brad Cooper said, “The blockade of Iranian ports has been fully implemented. Since the blockade measures were put into place, in less than 36 hours, U.S. forces have completely cut off Iran’s maritime import and export trade.” Cooper said it is estimated that 90% of Iran’s economy is supported by maritime international trade.
