ME News report, April 9 (UTC+8), Jefferies Global Economist Mohit Kumar said in a report that although the Middle East ceasefire agreement is fragile, it is expected to hold. Kumar said, “We have reached a stage where both sides want a ceasefire, because continuing the war will have negative impacts on both sides.” Kumar added that, “Trump wants to reach an agreement because he has not gained support for continued war from his ‘Make America Great Again’ base.” At the same time, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps will be in trouble due to the destruction of the economy, which may pave the way for subsequent uprisings. He said, “Considering the interests of both sides, we believe this unstable ceasefire will be maintained.” (Jin10) (Source: ODAILY)
