ME News, on April 15 (UTC+8), blockchain gaming infrastructure provider Lattice announced that it will gradually shut down its business after operating for five years. Its Layer 2 network Redstone will be shut down on May 16, 2026 at 07:59. Lattice reminded users to withdraw their funds before this deadline, especially assets in contracts such as Uniswap pools. After the shutdown, only L1 withdrawal contracts will be deployed to withdraw balances for external accounts, and the funds in the contracts will be unrecoverable. It is reported that Lattice was founded in 2021 and developed tools such as the MUD framework, the Redstone chain, Quarry, and Dozer, but failed to achieve a sustainable business model. The team will use the remaining funds for the final project DUST Autonomous World, but the scale has not been sufficient to support the business, and they do not believe that VC funding is the right path.
