Virginia signs new law to include digital assets in unclaimed property and custody in physical form
ME News Update, April 15 (UTC+8), the Governor of Virginia signed HB 798 into law, expanding the scope of unclaimed property regulations to include digital assets. The law stipulates that digital assets will be transferred to the state government in physical form and will take effect from July 1, 2026. (Source: PANews)
