Lately, people keep saying, "All on-chain data is public, how can you still get it wrong," and I find it a bit funny... The "on-chain" you see is often the version provided by your node/RPC/indexer, not the absolute truth of the universe. If the RPC is blocked, the node is a bit behind, or the indexer hasn't scanned the blocks yet, your balance, transactions, and even unlock flow alerts can be delayed by tens of seconds to a few minutes. That tiny delay in the emotional trading room is enough to make people make reckless moves. Recently, the staking unlock and token unlock calendars have been used to scare people again. I now prefer to first verify the data source: switch to a different RPC, compare two browsers, or pull logs myself as a patch. Small tweaks are enough—don't jump to doubt life right away. Anyway, I’d rather spend an extra half hour tinkering than be robbed of judgment by a "late on-chain" delay.
