Recently, I've come across a bunch of social mining/points tasks again, like signing in, sharing, joining groups, changing avatars to get badges... Basically, it's just trading time for a "status card." My obsessive-compulsive tendencies initially made me take it seriously, but later I realized the biggest loss isn't missing out on points, but draining my attention: staring at task lists every day is more exhausting than watching the market, and it's easy to connect to a bunch of unfamiliar dApps just for interaction, with permissions open and a bunch of access granted.

By the way, it reminded me of the current NFT royalty debate, where everyone is arguing fiercely about creator income and secondary liquidity, but many "identity-based" gameplay methods are pretty similar: platforms want activity and transactions, users want future airdrops, and ultimately, the costs are borne by time and risk, with no one wanting to be the last to take the fall.

Next time, I plan to do only two things: interact only with projects I truly use, and clear wallet permissions weekly. Do you still check in every day for badges/points? Or have you already given up?
