Arbitrum (#ARR ) Legal Crisis DAO

Unprecedented legal battle over 30,766 ETH
Court order from the U.S.: A restraining order from a U.S. federal court has been directly served through Arbitrum's governance forum, officially prohibiting Arbitrum DAO from moving 30,766 ETH (worth approximately $71.1 million). This asset was previously quickly frozen by Arbitrum's Security Council on April 20 after tracing the funds from the Kelp DAO hack.
Plaintiff is not a Kelp DAO victim: The restraining order was filed by the law firm Gerstein Harrow LLP, representing the families of victims in North Korean-sponsored terrorist attacks.
Asset seizure argument: The plaintiffs currently hold unpaid judgments totaling over $877 million against North Korea. Based on investigative reports suggesting that the Lazarus Group (backed by North Korea) was behind the attack, the plaintiffs argue that the frozen ETH is related to North Korea and request its seizure to enforce the judgment.
