The current trend of ETH (the so-called “yi tai”) is clearly weaker than Bitcoin. Yesterday at noon, it spiked up to 2400 but was immediately suppressed; it then turned and retraced to 2313. In the evening, the second attempt to surge to 2382 also failed to move higher. The bulls are running out of steam and can’t keep up with Bitcoin’s pace.

On the 4-hour timeframe, after the earlier push to 2463, it has remained in a bearish pattern of choppy downward movement, with the highs and lows continuously printing lower. Now, relying on a brief rebound, the key resistance at 2400 is being tightly held. Until it breaks through, the intraday idea remains firmly: focus on going short on rallies, and use going long on dips only as a secondary approach!
