Ethereum Foundation Sells $47M in ETH to Bitmine Over a Week
The Ethereum Foundation sold about $47 million in ETH to Bitmine across a week. The foundation said the funds will support core operations, including protocol research and development, ecosystem development, and community grants. After the purchases, Bitmine had staked about 4.19 million ETH, worth about $9.5 billion, or roughly 83% of its total holdings.
