AIMPACT News, May 5 (UTC+8): After the United Arab Emirates announced that within two years, 50% of government departments, services, and operations would shift to Agentic AI, Dubai has begun pushing this route toward the corporate sector. Dubai’s Crown Prince, UAE Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense Hamdan bin Mohammed announced that Dubai will launch an Agentic AI transformation program for the private sector. Agentic AI refers to AI systems that can autonomously analyze, make decisions, and execute tasks.

The program will run for 2 years and will provide specialized training for all business councils under the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. The Dubai Chamber will also establish an Agentic AI company incubator and set up a dedicated fund to support relevant enterprises.

Dubai aims to enable businesses to improve productivity and expand their business scale with Agentic AI, and to make Dubai the global city with the most active commercialization adoption of this type of technology. Compared with the government-side plan announced on April 23, the new highlight this time is that the private sector is also included in the same round of AI transformation. (Source: X platform)
