CoinWorld News reports that AAVE LLC has filed an emergency motion with the U.S. federal court to lift the approximately $73 million ETH freeze order. The relevant funds are linked to the April 18 Kelp DAO attack, and the court ordered on May 1 to restrict Arbitrum DAO from transferring the recovered funds. AAVE said that the claimants seeking to recover the funds have not substantiated their claim that the attack should be attributed to the Lazarus Group. AAVE founder Stani Kulechov said, “Thieves do not own what they steal,” and these funds belong to the stolen users.
