Many people's pain actually stems from one word: "Fear." They are always anxious about things that haven't happened yet: fear of not being good enough, fear of rejection, fear of making mistakes and regretting, fear of being judged and looked down upon, fear of conflict, fear of losing relationships, fear that the future will be bad. But most of these fears are just imaginations in the mind, not real facts that have actually happened. People often torment themselves in the present with "imaginary dangers," repeatedly fighting against their own thoughts. In fact, human relationships are inherently staged, and the future has not yet arrived; those things that cause fear do not truly exist. When we are no longer driven by "fear," and no longer obsessed with evaluation, loss, and uncertainty, inner conflict and anxiety will also diminish. Many so-called personality issues are actually just extensions of fear. Once fear loosens, the mind naturally becomes stable and relaxed, and people become more peaceful, open, and tolerant, even more powerful and warm. The true thing that traps people is never external people and events, but the thinking that constantly imagines the worst possible outcome.
