I have been reviewing what is happening in the crypto space and honestly there are some cryptocurrency projects that deserve much more attention than they get. It’s not just hype; many of these are solving real problems.

Look, when we talk about modern cryptocurrency projects, most aim for the same thing: using blockchain to do things better, faster, cheaper. But the interesting part is how each one is doing it differently.

Take Ethereum, for example. It revolutionized everything when it enabled smart contracts. It completely changed the game. And when it switched to Proof of Stake a few years ago, it became much more efficient. That was a major move.

But Solana comes with a different approach. It’s brutally fast, processes thousands of transactions per second, and each one costs fractions of a cent. For those wanting to build applications without gas fees eating into profits, Solana is interesting.

Then there’s Near Protocol, which honestly I think many underestimate. It’s incredibly developer-friendly. You can build in Javascript, Rust, tools you already know. And the best part is it maintains 100% uptime while offering lower fees than Ethereum. That’s no small feat.

Ripple is a different case. While other crypto projects focused on DeFi and NFTs, Ripple went straight to the real problem: international transfers are expensive and slow. With XRP, transactions between institutions can be settled in seconds. Banks are already adopting it.

TON (The Open Network) has something others don’t: it’s connected to Telegram. That gives it a community of millions of ready users. It can process millions of transactions per second effortlessly.

Now, POPG is interesting because it addresses entertainment in a way Web2 cannot. Three platforms: one for rewards, another for gaming with community governance, another for access to events. Fans finally have a voice.

Hyperliquid is another one I’m keeping an eye on. It’s a DEX on its own L1, no gas fees, can process 200K transactions per second. The volume it’s moving is serious.

Oindo Finance is democratizing institutional finance. It’s backed by Founders Fund, Pantera, Coinbase. They just launched Ondo Chain for tokenized real-world assets. That’s where the real money is going.

VeChain has been in this space for years, surviving full cycles. It’s focused on real enterprise applications, sustainability, tokenization of real-world assets. Transactions for less than a cent.

And Hedera, although technically not a blockchain (it uses DAG), works similarly to other projects but with a different architecture. Smart contracts, NFTs, everything you expect but with proof-of-stake consensus.

What I see is that current crypto projects are not just speculation. They are solving real friction: transaction costs, speed, access to financial services, entertainment without intermediaries. If you’re looking for where real capital enters, look for genuine institutional or community adoption.

If you’re interested in following any, the best strategy is to join the communities, understand what problem they are really solving, and from there decide if it aligns with your interests. Those who will win are the ones solving something people need.
