ME News Report, April 9 (UTC+8), Monad posted a tweet stating that the Monad Foundation will subsidize the cost of dedicated signing laptops for protocol teams with a TVL reaching or exceeding 2.5 million USD, for multi-signature, vault, and other critical operations. Eligible teams can contact the Monad Foundation to apply; subsidies may require additional security training and regular KYC. Monad emphasized that signing devices must never be the same as the computers used daily for browsing the web, coding, or meetings. Foresight News previously reported that Monad co-founder Keone Hon tweeted that protocol parties should immediately adopt dedicated signing computers for multi-signature operations and stop using daily computers. He pointed out that daily computers are highly susceptible to intrusion. Once a computer is compromised, even connecting a hardware wallet, the signing process could be maliciously tampered with, leading to security risks. The Monad Foundation may introduce future incentives for teams to adopt this method. (Source: Foresight News)
