Besant: Trump's tariff levels may return to pre-Supreme Court ruling levels by July.

ME News report. On April 15 (UTC+8), U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessant said that Trump’s tariff levels could be restored to the level before the Supreme Court overturned multiple orders imposing charges, by early July. Bessant noted that while it is difficult to predict when the consequences of the Iran war will affect the U.S. economy, the current economic situation remains strong, and the growth rate is expected to exceed 3% and even 3.5% this year. He also pointed out that the continued decline in core inflation is a good sign, and said that the Federal Reserve has repeatedly misjudged inflation issues. (Source: ChainCatcher)
