I muted the group, and the world became much more peaceful...

Before, every time I checked, it was all "smart money entering the market / large transfers about to happen," which made my hands itchy.
After calming down and looking at the mempool queue, it's actually quite counterintuitive: clicking send doesn't mean the transaction is confirmed, it just puts your transaction into a crowded queue of people.
When there's congestion, miners/packagers will prioritize those who pay more or look more appealing, and your transaction might sit at the back of the line, waiting patiently.
By the time the price has already changed, you might get slippage and fill at a worse rate, or even fail outright and have to pay some tuition fees.
Honestly, I now see on-chain hot and cold wallet movements more as noise; what really affects me is the current congestion and delays...
Anyway, I’d rather do fewer transactions than fight for the lane with others during peak times.
