Recently, people keep asking me, "Aren't you watching the chain every day? Why haven't you seen that transaction yet?" I can only say... the blockchain can be late too. What you see is actually a paraphrase given by nodes/RPCs/indexers; some nodes sync slower, some RPCs have rate limiting issues, and some index services cache without refreshing. The "latest" you see then becomes "just now." Slippage is also a factor—when liquidity on DEXs moves quickly, your data lags behind, and by the time you confirm, you realize you're trading with outdated information.

What's even more amusing is that recently, some places have increased taxes and tightened regulations, making everyone's deposit and withdrawal expectations more sensitive. Any small change causes a rush, the chain gets instantly congested, and then what you see is even slower... Anyway, I’ve gotten used to comparing multiple RPCs now, so I don’t get fooled by my own screen. That’s all for now.
