I tried once: for the same transaction, I was watching the wallet plugin while opening a blockchain explorer, and the plugin just wouldn't move at all. After dozens of seconds, it suddenly confirmed. I thought I had selected the wrong chain... It wasn't until later that I realized what I was seeing as "on-chain" was actually the entire set of node/RPC/index translation, and if one link in the chain stalls, it will be delayed.

So now I rarely panic and add more funds or margin just because "nothing is showing." I first switch to a different RPC, look at it with another browser, and wait to see if it's already in the mempool. Recently, everyone has been complaining that validators are earning a lot, and that MEV is unfairly inserted and reordered. In fact, the easiest thing for ordinary people to be taught is: you think you're looking at the facts, but you might just be seeing the latency of a certain service provider... Anyway, I now prefer to be a bit slower rather than be driven by my emotions to act too quickly.
