Lately I've been thinking a lot about privacy on the blockchain. To put it simply, the two main things ordinary people can hope for are: not being casually watched, and not accidentally crossing compliance lines with just a few clicks. But the reality is that the blockchain is like transparent glass; using privacy tools often makes you more "notably watched," which can be pretty frustrating.

On top of that, with everyone complaining about miner/validator income, MEV, and unfair ordering these days, I can relate: no matter how carefully you queue your transaction, you might still get cut in line or sniped, which can really mess with your mindset. Now I see myself more as "practicing": being less impulsive, taking things slow, using small amounts when possible, and not treating the chain as an absolutely neutral self-service machine... Anyway, lowering expectations a bit makes me feel more comfortable.
