Just started looking into airdrop farming and honestly it's easier than I thought. Here's what I've learned so far for anyone trying to figure out how to farm airdrops without getting lost.
First thing - you definitely need a wallet set up before anything else. I'm using MetaMask since most of the airdrops I'm seeing are on Ethereum or BSC, but if you're going after Solana tokens, Phantom works better. Having wallets on multiple chains actually opens up way more opportunities, so I set up a couple just to be safe.
The real skill is finding the actual airdrop opportunities. There are communities and Discord servers dedicated to this stuff, and honestly just following the right accounts on Twitter helps too. You've gotta stay plugged in because new ones pop up constantly.
Once you find something worth doing, read the requirements carefully because every airdrop has different tasks. Some want you to join their Telegram and stay active, others ask you to retweet or tag people. I've also seen ones where you just hold a specific token during a snapshot period or test out their dApp. Nothing crazy, just different requirements.
The actual process of how to farm airdrops basically comes down to consistency - checking regularly, completing tasks properly, and not missing deadlines. It's free money if you put in the effort, though obviously not guaranteed. Been doing this for a few weeks now and honestly it's a decent way to build a portfolio without spending anything. Definitely recommend if you've got spare time.
