Lately, I've really been overwhelmed by the "attention economy." When hot topics change, everyone follows along, and I end up feeling like I'm just fueling someone else's narrative... My current workaround is: when I see a new L1/L2 start promoting incentives to boost TVL, I don't rush in immediately. First, I look at who is pushing on the chain, where the money is coming from, whether it's new or just moving over. Longtime users complain that "mining, selling, and buying" is quite real; honestly, it’s like you’re mining seriously, while the other side is just selling seriously.

My mom asked me a couple of days ago, "You guys keep talking about airdrops, isn’t that just free money?" I could only reply half-heartedly: there’s no such thing as free; it’s all exchanged for your attention and liquidity... Anyway, I’d rather eat a little less heat than always be the one to take the last hand. Let’s just keep it like this; taking it slow is also pretty good.
