Recently, I've been thinking about investment opportunities in the 2025 altcoin season, and I feel that this cycle is quite different from previous ones. With new projects constantly emerging, institutional investors entering the market, and AI tools being applied, the way the entire market operates seems to be changing.
To seize opportunities in this cycle, first you need to learn how to identify trends early. I'm currently paying close attention to on-chain data, such as whale wallet movements and liquidity changes on DEXs, as these often reflect what smart money is doing. At the same time, AI tools have been a big help; using ChatGPT, Kaito, and similar tools to assist with judgment can save a lot of time. Most importantly, focus on projects with real use cases, reliable teams, and strong investor backgrounds.
Fundamental analysis is something I believe cannot be sloppy about. When evaluating projects, you should pay attention to the strength of the team, whether the tokenomics are reasonable, how the staking mechanisms work, and what real problems the project is solving. Collaboration with other projects' ecosystems is also very important, as it often determines the project's growth ceiling.
On the technical side, market volatility is normal, so understanding support and resistance levels is essential. Indicators like MACD, RSI, and Bollinger Bands may be old but are still quite useful in actual trading. There are many tools now that help track whale trading activity, which provides valuable reference for market direction.
Regarding tools, I’ve been using real-time monitoring platforms lately. Platforms like DexScanner can track DEX trading and liquidity changes instantly, which is especially useful for those looking to catch early opportunities. Using DexScanner together with DEXTools can cover most on-chain trading information. Kaito AI is mainly used to filter market signals from Twitter, minimizing noise.
As for allocation, I prefer to diversify risk. Blue-chip altcoins like ETH (currently $2.31K), SOL (currently $83.86), and APT (currently $0.99) get about 50% of my funds, as they provide a stable foundation. Medium-cap projects get 30%, and high-potential new projects reserve 20% for those big opportunities that might come along.
Overall, the 2025 altcoin season will require more proactive analysis and tool assistance. Relying on luck is no longer enough; data must speak for itself. If you're interested, you can check the real-time prices of these coins on Gate, and also try out these analysis tools yourself to find the strategy that works best for you.
