ME News Report, May 3rd (UTC+8), Warren Buffett stated in an interview with CNBC: “As for Berkshire’s capital deployment, it’s not currently our ideal market environment.” Buffett said that Berkshire has an excellent management team that can seize opportunities and patiently wait for the right targets. He mentioned that although it may seem that Berkshire sometimes remains inactive and does nothing, in fact, it will take proactive action at the appropriate time. He admitted that the reluctance to invest heavily for a long time is partly because the overall market valuation is high. When asked when would be a good time to invest, Buffett said, “When nobody wants to answer the phone,” then the opportunity will naturally come. (Source: PANews)
