ME News, April 14 (UTC+8): the Ethereum Foundation announced on the X platform the launch of the “Ethereum Audit Subsidy Program,” partnering with multiple audit and infrastructure organizations to provide developers with subsidies for security audit fees, in order to improve the overall security of the ecosystem. The program is led by EF’s “Trillion Dollar Security Initiative,” and is advanced in cooperation with Nethermind, Chainlink Labs, and Areta, among others, to assess and review applicant projects. The Ethereum Foundation said that although security audits are industry best practices, they are costly; this initiative aims to lower the development barrier and support more innovative use cases and projects to be deployed in the Ethereum ecosystem.
