Many pains are not because you can't get it, but because you are too obsessed with "must get it." The harder you cling, the tighter your heart becomes, and you are more likely to fall into anxiety and internal exhaustion. The truly effective approach is to learn to "do the opposite," to try your best when you should put in effort, but to decisively let go when it's time to release, not being hostage to the outcome. When you no longer obsess over controlling everything, no longer be dragged down by sunk costs, and no longer desperately seek external approval, your mindset will shift from tension to relaxation, from defensiveness to creativity. Change yourself from the role of "must control life" to the role of "experiencing life," and you will be more composed and have more room to see the direction clearly. Many things, in fact, only start to become smooth when you stop obsessing over the result.
