Iranian Parliament Speaker: Three key terms have been violated before peace negotiations begin
ME News report. On April 9 (UTC+8), the Chairman of the Iranian Parliament issued a statement saying that three key provisions in the proposal at 10:00 had been violated before the negotiations even began. These include: (1) non-compliance with the clause in the Ten-Point Proposal regarding achieving a ceasefire in Lebanon—Pakistan’s Prime Minister has explicitly mentioned and claimed that this is “a comprehensive ceasefire with immediate effect in all places, including Lebanon and other regions”; (2) an invading drone entered Iran’s airspace and was destroyed in Rar, Fars Province, which clearly violates the clause prohibiting any further infringement of Iran’s airspace; and (3) denying Iran’s rights to enriched uranium, which is included in Article 6 of the framework. Today, the “practical and feasible conditions” that were supposed to serve as the basis for negotiations have been openly and explicitly breached—indeed, even before the negotiations began. Under these circumstances, it is unreasonable to implement a bilateral ceasefire or to hold negotiations. (Jin10) (Source: ODAILY)
