Recently, on-chain data keeps "hanging up" every now and then. At first, I thought my internet was bad, but then I realized that many places are separated by layers like indexers/subgraphs/RPC... To put it simply, what you see isn't the "real-time scene" on the chain, but more like someone copying homework nearby and passing it to you. RPC rate limits, subgraph synchronization delays, and the page suddenly goes blank for a few seconds or data jumps—it's normal but also quite annoying.

These days, some people are also complaining that certain on-chain tools and tagging systems are "lagging" or even misleading. I now lower my expectations: don't treat tags as verdicts, don't treat dashboards as ECGs. Anyway, I’d rather be slower, wait a bit longer to confirm, than make a mistake just because I was in a hurry to take a quick look... That's all for now.
