ME News, April 8 (UTC+8): Liquid Capital (formerly LD Capital) founder Yi Lihua announced the establishment of the AI fund OpenX Labs, focusing on investing in and collaborating on AI projects.

Yi Lihua said, “I used to think that first-tier investment opportunities were gone. Now I’ve corrected that belief— the golden age of first-tier investing has arrived. The AI era has given top founders a huge opportunity; just a few people can take on what would otherwise take thousands of troops. You don’t need to handle management, hiring, salaries, or tedious tasks like finding clients. As long as you have ideas and a strategy, in the AI era, startups stand on the same starting line as all mid-sized enterprises.

“I hope that the time ahead for first-tier investment allocation can be spent learning together with outstanding AI founders. For excellent AI projects, I’m willing to help without expecting any return. You can reach me anytime. AI has also given me a second opportunity and motivation to start a business.”
