If you seriously consider mobile crypto mining, then a mining app is your main tool. Over the past couple of years, many options have appeared, and the choice depends on what you need.
Start usually with CryptoTab — one of the first mining apps that’s easy to install on your phone and launch. It will automatically start generating hash rate for BTC. Plus, a referral system: invite friends via a link, and your earnings grow. StormGain is also popular — user-friendly interface, cloud mining for completing simple tasks, though it requires a reboot every 4 hours.
If you prefer a more serious approach, look at NiceHash or Bitdeer. NiceHash is good with its built-in profitability calculator and high security (be sure to enable 2FA before starting). Bitdeer is for experienced users, offering professional tariff plans and support for multiple cryptocurrencies simultaneously.
Regarding the choice of which crypto to mine — right now, Monero (XMR), Dogecoin (DOGE), Vertcoin, and Ravencoin (RVN) are easiest on phones. Current prices: XMR around $381, DOGE $0.11, RVN $0.01. But consider the electricity cost in your region — it can eat up all your profit.
I’ll answer the main question: how much time to mine 1 BTC? On average, it takes about 10 minutes with a phone, but this assumes cloud mining, not direct mining on hardware. If mining directly on a smartphone, you’ll need special equipment or a cloud service, otherwise, you’ll be waiting months.
Mining on an iPhone is more difficult due to Apple’s policies — mostly only cloud mining apps work there. On Android, it’s easier: choose an app, install it, create an account, link your wallet, select a pool, and start.
Is it worth starting? Depends on your expectations. Competition in the market is huge, requiring at least 8 hours of participation daily, and there’s a risk of encountering scammers. But if you approach carefully, choose a reliable mining app, and don’t expect quick money, it can be a passive income source. The main thing — don’t rush, study all the details, and start small.
