$PI Many people think it’s not as good as other knockoff “local dogs,” because they aren’t long-term believers—they only care about benefits right in front of them, only about today’s price. They’re realistic. There are countless local dogs—every day, there are countless projects that end up “reset to zero and run away.” How many operators, riding on the momentum of a pump, do things that can’t be seen in the light—they don’t bother to deal with any of it. Even what’s barely fit to show up in public deserves to be compared with Pi? I really don’t know what’s in their heads, yet they level harsh criticism at a project that hasn’t even fully opened its mainnet, but has already topped the world’s highest stage and sits shoulder to shoulder with global giants. They even slander it and spread rumors. Their impatient, short-sighted mindset determines their horizon, their personal character, their thinking ability, and ultimately their outcome. Rome wasn’t built in a day. No great project can be accomplished overnight. If you’re willing to wait, give Pi time. If you think the knockoff local dogs are better, then leave. That’s it. Many pioneers persist because they see Pi’s future—I’m just one of them.

There is really no such thing as long-termism. It's all about short-term opportunities that determine fate and the future in one or two instances. Looking back, writing memoirs, and then rationalizing long-term strategies.
