Old Ethereum wallets drained in a coordinated attack, with losses exceeding $800,000.

Most of the stolen wallets targeted old compromised keys that remained exposed for years.
This week, hundreds of Ethereum wallets were drained, many of which have been inactive for seven years or more, in what blockchain observers described as a direct draining campaign linked to the same attacker addresses.
According to some sources, the losses have already surpassed $800,000.
What happened and what we know so far
One of the victims, who posted under the username Capitulation.eth, was the first to sound the alarm, saying that funds had left his wallet without permission, and noting that others are also experiencing account "zeroing."
This was confirmed by crypto analyst Waz, who shared blockchain data showing a single address sweeping wallets that last transferred funds in 2019.
Another analyst, named Spector, estimated the number of victims in the hundreds, and the total losses at over $800,000. According to him, the attacker deposited 2 ETH into a trading platform, likely transferred to Monero, and separately moved 324 ETH, worth approximately 734,000 $BTC .
