Recently, I checked out various free cryptocurrency miners available on Android, and I’d like to share what I found. It turns out that mobile mining is a completely different game than traditional mining — you don’t need powerful hardware or huge amounts of electricity. Android is perfect for this type of app because it’s open-source software that allows developers to create mining tools quite freely.
We started with MasHash, which has been operating since 2019 and specializes in cloud mining. The cool thing about it is that you can mine Litecoin, Ethereum, or Bitcoin from anywhere, without needing physical equipment. The interface is intuitive, payouts are daily, and customer support is available 24/7. Downsides? You don’t actually own hardware, and the currency options are limited.
The second free cryptocurrency miner I tested is ECOS. Here, you rent computing power from the cloud, so again — no hardware to buy. This was clear and straightforward for me, and the app runs without major issues. If you’re looking for something simple to get started, this free crypto miner could be a good option.
Overall, mobile mining isn’t the same as traditional mining, but if you want to earn something without big investments, it’s worth trying. Android has quite a few options to choose from.
