Many users criticized Musk for hypocrisy. A user with the nickname Marcus pointed out the sharp rise in DOGE prices every time the billionaire mentions this coin.
Some community members with agreed with Musk’s assessment. In their view, only Bitcoin, Ethereum, and a few major altcoins have real value.
“Did Musk really need to tell you that? Anyone with an IQ around 90 would say the same,” one of the users wrote.
