I just muted several groups, and as soon as my phone lit up, it was "Someone is about to take off" "Should I buy in or not," plus KOL long image reviews, which made people's brains heat up. To put it plainly, information overload isn't about having too much information, but about emotions being too dense—whoever raises their voice the loudest gets your attention. Then impulsively buying and losing money, and in the group, one "DYOR" ends it all, with KOLs at most saying "Not investment advice," and the ones who pay are always the ones who click confirm.

Recently, there's been a lot of talk about social mining and fan tokens—"attention is mining"—sounds pretty advanced, but actually it's more like monetizing the noise: the more anxious you are, the more computing power you contribute. Anyway, my current approach is to only look at the proposal text and execution details; if the messages are slow, so be it. At least if I lose money, I can say I chose to do so myself.
