Standard Chartered considers partial acquisition of cryptocurrency custody firm Zodia

ME News Report, April 8 (UTC+8), Standard Chartered Bank is seeking to fully merge some of its stake in Zodia Custody Ltd. with a digital asset business under its umbrella. The lender plans to integrate Zodia’s cryptocurrency custody services into its corporate and investment banking division that offers similar services. People familiar with the matter said that an announcement regarding the restructuring plan could be released within this month. According to the plan under consideration by Standard Chartered, Zodia Custody will continue to operate as an independent crypto asset custody software-as-a-service company. (Source: Foresight News)
