ME News Report, April 14 (UTC+8), according to 1M AI News monitoring, AI programming tool Cursor released version 3.1, focusing on improvements to the Agents Window interface. Main new features: 1. Tiled Layout: Split views into multiple panels to run and manage multiple Agents simultaneously, supporting drag-and-drop arrangement and shortcut navigation, with layouts saved across sessions. 2. Upgraded Voice Input: Switch to full recording batch speech-to-text (batch STT) for higher accuracy. Press and hold Ctrl+M to record, with waveform, timer, and confirm/cancel buttons added to the recording interface. 3. Branch selection in blank state: Before launching a cloud Agent, search and select the target branch to avoid running on the wrong branch. 4. Diff jump to source file: Jump directly from the diff view to the corresponding line in the file. After entering the full editor, you can manually modify or use Tab for auto-completion. 5. File search filter: “Search in Files” now includes include/exclude filter conditions. Performance-wise, frame drops when editing large files decreased by about 87%, long dialogue follow-up questions that previously caused over a second of lag now respond instantly, and scrolling lag in long conversations has also been fixed.
