just realized netflix hiked prices again and honestly i'm over it. been testing some netflix alternatives lately and there's actually decent stuff out there if you're willing to switch. discovery+ is solid for lifestyle content, like hgtv and food network stuff, runs like $6 a month. then there's peacock with their sports coverage which is kinda nice if you're into nfl or premier league. paramount+ has similar pricing too.
for the bundle people, the disney+ hulu combo is probably the move if you want variety without breaking the bank. apple tv+ is pricey but their originals are actually good. and if you want to go full budget mode, tubi and roku channel are literally free with ads, which is wild considering how much content they have.
the thing is netflix alternatives have gotten way better over the last couple years. you don't really need to stick with netflix anymore just because it's netflix. worth checking out some of these other streaming options before you auto-renew, especially if that price hike bothers you like it does for me lol
