ME News Report, April 14 (UTC+8), according to 1M AI News monitoring, AI programming tool Cursor released version 3.1, focusing on improvements to the Agents Window interface. Main new features: 1. Tiled Layout: split views into multiple panels to run and manage multiple Agents simultaneously, supporting drag-and-drop arrangement and shortcut navigation, with layout saved across sessions. 2. Upgraded Voice Input: switch to full recording batch speech-to-text (batch STT) for higher accuracy, press and hold Ctrl+M to record, with waveform, timer, and confirm/cancel buttons added to the recording interface. 3. Branch selection in blank state: search and select target branch before launching cloud Agent to avoid running on the wrong branch. 4. Diff jump to source file: jump directly from diff view to the corresponding line in the file, with the option to manually edit or use tab completion after entering the full editor. 5. File search filter: “Search in Files” now includes include/exclude filter conditions. Performance-wise, frame drops during editing large files decreased by about 87%, long dialogue follow-up questions that previously caused over one second of lag now respond instantly, and scrolling lag in long conversations has also been fixed.
