So I've been clearing out my garage and honestly, end-of-summer is the sweet spot for moving stuff online. Everyone's rotating their closet right now - shorts, tees, sundresses, old swimwear. The key is actually washing everything and getting decent photos. Brand names move faster, but honestly, unique pieces do well too if they're in good shape.
Beyond clothes, I've had crazy success with outdoor gear. Camping equipment, beach stuff, coolers - people are either buying cheap now to stash for next year or gearing up for fall trips. Same with gardening tools and sports equipment. Baseball gloves, bikes, tennis rackets, that kind of thing. Summer sports are wrapping up but fall activities are starting, so there's this weird overlap where everything sells.
Patio furniture's been surprising - I thought nobody would want it, but people are actually upgrading or planning ahead. Same with those summer products for kids - pool floats, water guns, slip n slides. Even textbooks are moving if you've got old ones lying around. And here's the thing nobody thinks about: window AC units and fans. People wait for end-of-summer sales to grab deals, so there's definitely a market.
Oh, and grills. Last cookouts of the season means people upgrade their BBQ setup. Honestly, listing summer products to sell right now has been way easier than I expected. The timing just works.
