Vulcan Materials reports year-on-year boost in earnings

Vulcan Materials Co. announced a significant year-on-year increase in revenue and net income for the first quarter of 2026, with revenue rising by 6.9% to $1.765 billion and net earnings for shareholders growing by 21.8% to $165 million. The company’s Aggregates business unit saw a 12% gross profit increase to $400 million, driven by widespread pricing growth, effective cost control, and increased shipment volume supported by large projects and public construction. Vulcan reiterates a full-year adjusted EBITDA outlook of $2.4 billion to $2.6 billion.
