CryptoWorld News, International Energy Agency (IEA) Director Fatih Birol reiterated on Thursday that the world is facing the largest energy crisis in history due to supply disruptions caused by conflicts with Iran. He stated at a conference in Paris: "The oil and natural gas markets are experiencing significant difficulties. The last time I checked, oil prices had exceeded $120, putting enormous pressure on many countries. Our world is facing major economic and energy challenges." Due to concerns that the Iran conflict could worsen further, Brent crude oil prices surged to a four-year high on Thursday.
