Just found out cucumbers are actually super good for dogs and I've been giving them to mine wrong the whole time. So yeah, is cucumber good for dogs? Apparently totally safe and way better than I thought. My vet basically said they're low-calorie, hydrating, and honestly perfect for summer treats when it's hot out.

The thing is, moderation matters - treats should only be like 10% of their daily calories or whatever. I was doing the whole thing, seeds and skin included, but apparently you should remove seeds just in case and always cut them into bite-size pieces so they don't choke.

Turned out cucumber is good for dogs especially if they're overweight since it's mostly water and barely any calories. Been adding a few slices to my dog's meals now and she actually seems to prefer them to regular treats. Pretty solid healthy snack tbh, way cheaper than those fancy dog treats too.
