“Counterintuitive” signal: ETH prices are sluggish, but Ethereum is entering the busiest “off-season” in history.

Even though market sentiment and coin prices are at a low point, Ethereum’s underlying activity is unusually hot. Data shows that on April 28, the number of daily transactions surged to 3.63 million, setting a new all-time high. What’s more, throughout the first quarter of 2026, mainnet transactions have already surpassed 200 million, jumping 43% quarter-over-quarter and also setting a record.

This reveals a key divergence: prices are sleeping, but the network is racing. While everyone’s eyes are fixed on candlestick charts, a real wave of usage is quietly approaching.$BTC $ETH $DOGE
