Night shift monitoring the market, the worst thing isn't the chaotic K-line jumps, but that gap period after you click confirm and wonder "Why hasn't it gone through yet." When the network is congested, transactions are basically queuing in the mempool, with miners/packagers first checking if the fee is high enough and whether it will get stuck; if you're further back in line, you can only wait patiently. Even worse, you think you've entered or exited a position, but you're still at the end of the queue, experiencing slippage, canceling orders, resubmitting, and your mood becomes worse than the funding rate. I usually stick to discipline: either pay enough fee from the start or just don't chase; if emotions run high, go wash your face. Later, I realized this is a bit like the recent NFT royalty debate—everyone arguing whether to give more or less— but when congestion really hits, liquidity and execution speed are the most realistic measures. For now, don't fight the chain directly.
