Ant Group's zkDTVM Tops Ethereum's Global Benchmark EthProofs

On April 30, Ant Group’s self-developed zero-knowledge proof virtual machine zkDTVM achieved a block proof speed of 3.7 seconds in the global benchmark test EthProofs initiated by Ethereum, breaking the previous industry record of 4.2 seconds and securing the top position worldwide under unified hardware and testing rules. In the blockchain layered architecture, the zero-knowledge proof virtual machine (zkVM) plays a crucial role in packaging and verifying blockchain transactions, with proof speed directly determining the system’s throughput limit. The industry has long viewed ‘real-time proof’ as the goal for high-throughput verification, but practical implementation has consistently faced bottlenecks. Controlling block proof speed within 10 seconds is already recognized as an excellent standard. The zkDTVM’s new global record signifies that Ant Group’s core blockchain technology continues to lead globally. Furthermore, breakthroughs in this technology provide new capabilities to support trustworthy collaboration among intelligent agents.
