Emotional breakdowns are often not sudden occurrences but signals sent after prolonged physical and mental exhaustion, such as becoming more irritable than usual, reacting strongly to small matters; feeling tired even when you haven't done much, or starting to doubt whether what you're doing is meaningful; eating and sleeping become irregular, either binge eating or having no appetite, difficulty falling asleep at night or waking up frequently; at the same time, the body also begins to experience various discomforts, such as headaches, palpitations, gastrointestinal issues, etc.; the brain may also uncontrollably replay thoughts repeatedly, affecting normal life. However, these symptoms appearing occasionally are normal; the key is whether multiple symptoms occur simultaneously, persist for a period of time, and affect daily functioning. If so, it indicates you may be in a stage of emotional exhaustion. Rather than toughing it out, you need to pause, adjust your rhythm, and take good care of yourself.
