Vitalik's address suspected of initiating programmatic liquidation of "garbage meme coins," continuously selling at the minute level.
BlockBeats News, April 30th, Arkham on-chain data shows that Vitalik Buterin’s address (0xAb5…) is actively selling various Meme tokens, with transfer frequencies reaching multiple transactions per minute, and the fund flow indicates ongoing ETH inflows during the same period.
The market generally suspects that he is using automated scripts to batch liquidate airdropped junk tokens in his wallet. Single transaction amounts are typically in the range of tens to hundreds of dollars. Such operations are not new. In 2021, Vitalik sold or donated a large amount of Meme coins (including SHIB and others) airdropped to his address, causing significant market volatility.
It is currently unclear whether this operation was manually triggered or fully executed by automated programs. Given Vitalik’s market influence, Meme coin holders should be aware of potential selling pressure risks.
